Title: My Physics Labs - Single Spring
Url: https://www.myphysicslab.com/springs/single-spring-en.html
Creator: Neumann, Erik
Publisher: Neumann, Erik
Description: This simulation displays the motion of a simple harmonic oscillator. The user can adjust the physical parameters in the problem including mass, spring stiffness, and damping. Graphs can be plotted relating any two dynamical quantities: position, velocity, acceleration, energy (potential, kinetic, and total), and the work done by damping. Bar graphs showing the energy are displayed in a separate area. The web page also gives and outline of the physics, the mathematical models used, and the numerical methods for the simulation. This is one of a group of simulations of classical systems.
