Title: Sketches of the History of Electromagnetics
Url: http://history.hyperjeff.net/electromagnetism
Creator: Biggus, Jeff
Publisher: HyperJeff Network
Description: Authored by Jeff Biggus, this website provides a history of light, electricity, magnetism and electromagnetic theory, placed in a linked timeline order with corresponding biographical sketches. The sketch traces the history from antiquity to the experiments done by Patrick Blackett and Giuseppe Occhialini in 1933. The page is personally authored and published, but Biggus does provide the sources of his research and footnotes those on the site. While just a broad overview, this is still a worthwhile source for a quick history of electromagnetism.
