In the mid-1980s, the RIM Program was established to quantify loads and long-term trends in concentrations of nutrients, such as nitrogen and phosphorus, and suspended material entering the tidal part of the Chesapeake Bay Basin from its nine major tributaries. Site features information on sampling methods, water chemistry, publications, links, glossary, and a bibliography of valuable resources. Site also includes downloadable data for all nine major tributaries.
