Description:
This page from the Problem-based Case Learning (PBCL) project provides an overview of the problem-based case learning cycle, or PBCL Cycle. The educational model is designed to be a compromise between a highly structured, instructor-focused learning environment and a non-traditional, student-focused classroom setting. The nine stages of the cycle are: course/business matching, framing, the situation, problem analysis, field insights, resource development, test points, evidence of learning and feedback and evaluation. This page outlines the entire cycle and includes valuable descriptions of each component. A PDF document outline of the PBCL cycle is also provided.
